Get Your Sunscreen For Consumer Reports On
Antiaging Products
This article takes a look at a consumer
report on antiaging products...
There are many sources on line and in traditional print
media that feature consumers reporting on antiaging products or
anything else that can be compared. But the Granddaddy of
them all is the American magazine Consumer Reports. This
objective comparative study magazine has been a staple of
doctor's reception areas and CEO's desks for decades.
This is perhaps the most trusted place to find consumer reports
on antiaging products.
Number One? Sunscreen!
The number one antiaging skincare product that is effective
at keeping you looking younger is sunscreen, according to
Consumer Reports. Although a bronzed body might look
sexier, constant exposure to sunlight or tanning booths makes
you skin prematurely wrinkle and make you more likely to get
skin cancer. No particular brand of sunscreen was rated
higher than another – you just needed to use ANY sunscreen and
stay out of the sun as much as possible to avoid getting
wrinkles in the first place.
Number 2: Oil Of Olay's Regenerist
The main message of Consumer Reports on antiaging products
is that nothing will live up to the manufacturer's claims of
making you look years younger. The only way you can get a
face lift … is to get a face lift. The only product line that
was anywhere near close in making skin look younger was the
Regenerist product line from Oil of Olay. And yes,
Consumer Reports tested all of those creams and lotions that
cost several hundred dollars a jar and still preferred Oil of
Olay and sunscreen.
Number 3: Lancome Renergie
Lancome is a French cosmetic brand that is considered
prestigious. It has been around for over sixty years, so
clearly it knows something about making women's beauty
products. However, their Renergie line only made number
three on the list of Consumer Reports on antiaging
products. Lancome claims this cream will help moisturize
your mature skin to give it the texture of youthful skin.
They make skin creams and eye creams for all skin types.
Number 4: RoC Retin-Ox Correxion
Rounding out Consumer Reports on antiaging products list is
the Retin-Ox Correxion line from RoC (yes, the C is
capitalized). This is about the most expensive line in
the list, depending on what country you live in. This is
to be used regularly for moths before you notice any
improvement in the skin. Some customers have reported paying
less buying directly from RoC rather than from a store.
